The Walkmen totally rocked my n’abes last night at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. They continue to wow me with their live energy infused with Hamilton’s stage presence. Click the image for more pics.

[...] The New York City-based Walkmen graced the stages of the Troubadour last night in West Hollywood. They delivered their unique energetic sound to the comparatively calm crowd. Seriously, there wasn’t much movement among the audience, which led to the vibe of it actually being Sunday night. However, that didn’t damper my experience or the signature vocal belting of Hamilton, twangy-echoing guitar, bouncy drummer and keyboard sprinkles of The Walkmen. It was an intimate setting. You can’t help but to be close to the stage at the Troubadour, my favorite venue in the Los Angeles area. Things finally got bumpin’ during the second encore, “Wake Up,” maybe a little too much with a couple turds exerting their will, throwing themselves into people (get a life). Overall, The Walkmen represented and I’ll continue to see them whenever I can. Hopefully next time Rockwell will make the trip west and open for them. [...]
