Nickodemus Spins Zanzibar Bossa:Nova

Turntables On the Hudson co-founder DJ Nickodemus tended to the west coast turntables at Zanzibar’s weekly Bossa:Nova series this past Friday night. The location was a few thousand miles from the river boat confines of the TOTH Frying Pan, but the sounds were close to the hearts of the dancin’ fools. At one point a group of percussionists came out onto the dance floor. The added live instruments provides a powerful combo with the DJ, as is frequently performed at TOTH.
